Mazi Nmandi Kanu is a name that has taken toll to sound and re-sound today and within the lines of history. This is a son worthy to be held at great esteem irrespective of what the Biafra elders may consider to be arrogant in his dispositions over the struggle to re-establish the Sovereign state of Biafra. It is never and would never be forgotten that the state of Biafra people under the Nigeria administration has seen a toll of administrative and infrastructural development nightmares. If going by any ideal judgement, one would strongly condemn the act of irrelevance ever displayed by Biafran elders who have considered themselves fortunate to be recipients of consolation prices being dished out with no remorse by Nigerian successive administrations to the detriment of the future of the Biafran youths. For how long are we going to continue being consoled with prices while every other regions that made up Nigeria continue to be winners... ? What sort of lukewarmness is Biafra elders displaying in the face of marginalization and undue deprivation of the rights of their children... ? A biblical exhortation says that parents should not provoke their children to anger. While it is the duty of the children to obey and honor their parents, it does not mean that parents should exercise negligence to the detriment of their children. A good parent plans and leaves inheritance for the children; what inheritance are the Biafra elders leaving behind for the young Biafra generation... ? Are the Biafra elders dreaming?
This in essence never totally spelt absolute justification of any area where the Biafra elders may have considered to have been offended by the moves of the illustrious and heroic son of this time Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The elders should understand that they failed to address a domestic issue that within the confines of the village square that the children now decided to make it a public outcry. Biafran elders shouldn't expect much of any apology from the youths this time around. But, as patriotic youths who see yet the importance of elderly advises, the door is still open now for any reasonable approach to the Biafra realization struggle. If the elders could not swallow their undeserved pride to apologise and admit their mistakes that they have failed Biafran youths, then they should not expect that People like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Radio Biafra that now speak the mind of the Biafran youths can be quenched.
Can't we be ashamed just for once that a landlord like Biafra is living in compassionate thatch house in his own land... ? For how long are we going to continue being polluted by the gerator fumes of the domestic residences of these elders... ? Doesn't Biafra land produces what is more than enough to feed its people and host strangers comfortable... ? Would the elders ever deny the fact that other small west African countries enjoy better and comfortable basic amenities far much compared to what are obtainable in Biafraland? Could anybody ever compare the Annual GDP of over five of these west African countries merged together to that of Biafra? Ah ah! Where are the Biafra elders coming from? Mind you,the elders cannot continue to play more of act of negligence than being realistic. They can go ahead and disassociate themselves from their own children because of crunches that fell off the Nigerian government tables they scramble for. No matter how they feel satisfied with their Nigerian government for over 45years, the Biafra youths are not satisfied! But they must know it well that they are being mocked by Nigeria!
To my opinion and what I consider worthy from the Biafra elders, it is commendable and worthy of emulation even if not in its totality but based on its significance the statement of Former Foreign Affairs Minister, Gen. Ike Nwachukwu (rtd) on 7th of November 2015 where he urged Nigerian youths not to build on the mistakes of past and present leaders even as he regretted his generation of Nigerian leaders has failed the country. It is in no doubt that his address is in line with what Mazi Nmandi Kanu, pro-Biafran Organsizations and entire Biafra youths are trying to address. In order for that mistake not to repeat itself, the Biafran youths find the answer to one thing... ,SOVEREIGN STATE OF BIAFRA! We stand together never to repeat your mistakes.
We apologize to you our Biafran elders and ask you to reserve your grievances but focus on the realities. With this you must come in terms with what your children are in for. A patient bird they say is the vulture; yes the Biafran youths have exercised much patience more creditably that the vulture. To go ahead blaming and condemning Mazi Nnamdi kanu and Biafran youths would never bring the solution. Biafran elders must re-consider their hardline criticisms against their children so that they would not be taken aback by the trend of the struggle. What we know is that sooner than later Biafra will emerge as a Sovereign nation.
The truth we know is always bitter... ,that is the crime of Mazi Nmamdi Kanu!
The truth shall prevail... .NO GOING BACK.
